How I Work
Hi, I’m Louisa. I’m a movement teacher, myofascial release practitioner, and mum of three.
My work is grounded in over 20 years of experience in yoga, Pilates, core rehabilitation, and fascial work. But more importantly, it’s shaped by my own personal journey through injury, healing, and motherhood.
After the birth of my first son, I was diagnosed with a severe diastasis recti and told it wouldn’t heal without surgery. That experience changed everything for me. It led me to explore new approaches to movement and rehabilitation, and ultimately to the Restore Your Core® programme, which helped me fully heal.
Since then, I’ve supported hundreds of people with core and pelvic health, combining evidence-based methods with a deeply individual, whole-body approach.
Rebuilding strength from the inside out, so your body feels supported, balanced and strong in everyday life.
My Approach
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all movement.
Every body is different, and every person comes with their own history, patterns, and goals. My role is to help you understand your body better, so you can move with more ease, comfort strength, and confidence.
In our work together, we will:
Explore how your body moves, breathes, and compensates
Identify patterns that may be contributing to pain or dysfunction
Build strength and stability in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming
Restore balance across your whole system, not just isolated areas
I combine a range of approaches depending on what you need, including:
Restore Your Core®
Pilates (mat and reformer)
Hypopressives
Myofascial release
Breath and postural work
What It’s Like to Work With Me
-
You’ll complete a short intake form and send a few simple videos or photos. This helps me assess your posture, movement, and breathing in advance, so we can use our time together effectively.
-
We’ll look at how you move and breathe, and I’ll explain what I’m seeing in a clear, supportive way. Understanding your body is a big part of the process.
We’ll then work through targeted exercises to:
Improve mobility and stability
Rebalance your system
Support your core and pelvic floor
Help you move with more ease
-
You’ll receive a clear recap of what we did and why, along with simple, practical “homework”.
I know how busy life is, especially if you’re juggling family, work, or recovery. So everything I give you is designed to be:
Time-efficient
Easy to follow
Realistic to fit into daily life and everyday movement
Real change doesn’t happen in one session. It happens with a new level of awareness of how you move, and how you build consistency in your movement.
Who I Work With
I support people at all stages, including:
Postnatal recovery
Diastasis recti healing
Pelvic floor concerns (including prolapse and incontinence)
Managing a back injury
Anyone wanting to return to exercise safely after an injury
Those looking to move with more awareness and balance
Whether you’re completely new to movement or returning after injury or pregnancy, you’re welcome here.
